SPRING HAS FINALLY SPRUNG!

I haven't posted for more than a month! Where does the time go? We have been busy just doing the everyday this and that--- school, Young Womens, piano, wrestling, scouts, activity day, etc!! It is amazing how fast the calander can fill up during the week. The kids are almost done with another school year- I can't believe it. Kaden, our 3rd, will be starting kindergarten in the fall and he IS SOOOO EXCITED!! He is already counting the days down till his first day. This past month has been really fun for us. Zayne had his annual cake auction for scouts-- that is always a lot of fun. He decided on a baseball cake- I talked him out of trying to make a mitt..... I just don't have a creative mind--- he was a good sport and together we built a jersey and cap out of cake! It took 3.5 hours!! He did a great job decorating- check it out!! We even made little baseballs out of cupcakes.
My kids have a long spring break- 2 1/2 weeks! They helped me scrub baseboards and doors throughout the whole house the first couple of days. They also helped shine and polish all of my wood- they LOVE spring cleaning just about as much as we all did.... It was painful- but worth it. They were really happy when it was done and ready for all of our friends and family that came to visit during break.

This is at the calf ranch. Jordan and Megan from Nevada are letting the babies suck on their fingers. Nice and slimy!

In the few minutes we were at the baby hutches, the girls had named several of them!! We pick the babies up from the dairies when they are just a day old- raise them for 3-4 months, then return them back to their dairy. In two years, these little girls will be producing milk and cheese for all of us!!

Aunt Heidi came and stayed for a whole week!! It was so much fun seeing her. She spent a lot of time with the kids- giving four wheeler rides, playing barbies, dying Easter eggs, etc. They have fun when she comes into town. She misses feeding the calves and the flies and smell. Awww so nice to be home! We actually surprised her with an early b-day party. It was a lot of fun.
While Jeannie and Heidi were here we did crafts, and shopped, and had a spa day at Angies work place ( where we were really spoiled- it felt sooo gooood! ) We stayed up late late late and ate ate ate tried to get Heidi a date date date (hee hee) and it was great great great!!

Hanging with my girlfriends!

Jeannie and I cut our hair and that night Ang colored it for us- people thought we were twins. :) James had to sneek into our picture! Peek a boo!

We can't forget to show pix of the fabulous Easter Egg Hunt we did for the cousins! The wind blew and blew but that didn't stop us-- we, the aunts and uncles hid over 100 eggs that grandma and grandpa filled for them. Kaden always has a big cheesy smile for all of us!

Vader and Jordan desperately searching for those eggs!

Aunt Angie helped the little girls decorate their eggs for the Easter Bunny. The next day Heidi made deviled eggs out of them.... so so good.

Zayne and Jacob and kaden. Jake loved that toy rifle! He carried it everywhere.

Happy Easter!!

My little Joe and me---

To finish off our busy break- we were able to travel to Ruper to attend the wedding reception of our nephew and his new bride, Nick and Marie! Jordan wanted to dance with Nick and he granted her wish. She loved it!

Nick and Marie were married in the Idaho Falls Temple- congrats to both of them. We are excited to have her as part of our family! She is an absolute doll. Zayne and Kaden would totally agree with that statement. They think she is pretty cute!!
